Q: Hello Antonio, could you tell us a bit about yourself?
I have a passion for motorbike and mechanical design, in parallel of my studies I worked as a mechanic on motorbike, scooter and bicycle until I graduated with my Mechanical Design Engineer degree. I joined Essemtec as a Machine Assembler in early 2022, where I absorbed as much knowledge as possible about our machines and their construction.
In late 2022, I transitioned into the Quality Assurance team, where I've been dedicated to maintaining our high-quality standards. from inspecting incoming goods to conducting final acceptance tests and calibrating equipment. I also serve as the point person for troubleshooting any production glitches and lend support to the purchasing team in selecting new suppliers."

Every day presents new challenges that require collaboration with various departments, allowing me to tackle problems head-on and contribute my own ideas, which are valued by the team. A: At Essemtec, quality assurance is integral to our manufacturing process. Quality start from the incoming goods reception and goes until the machine is installed and operational at the customer site. We implement rigorous checks on components to maintain high standards for our incoming good. Throughout assembly, operators meticulously review their part of the work using checklists to ensure precision. Subassemblies undergo thorough quality testing for optimal performance.
Skilled machine assemblers verify each machine's quality during assembly, and production managers conduct final reviews at every stages. After the production manager's final check, I do the final acceptance test. The 6-eyes principle applies here.
